Mountainside Medical Center is excited to honor Anjannette “AJ” Hutchinson, RN, BSN, manager of emergency services, as an exceptional leader.

AJ has been a team member at Mountainside since 2002 where she started as an agency nurse and quickly found that Mountainside was where she wanted to develop her career.  Starting as a full-time night nurse, she worked her way into a charge nurse role, and now serves as nurse manager for the department. As a leader, AJ not only leads with a fun and adventurous spirit but carries with her the determination and follow through to handle challenges that arise.

“The Emergency Department is fast-paced and requires a leader who is adaptable,, dependable and a team builder,” said Alec Grabowski, chief operating officer at Mountainside Medical Center. “No matter the obstacle, AJ continues to stay connected to her purpose and is committed to caring for patients and supporting her staff.”
