The orthopedic team at Mountainside Medical Center are specially trained to get the athlete back into the game. Whether an elite college athlete or a weekend warrior, our physicians provide comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of athletic injuries. The orthopedic specialists at Mountainside have affiliations with the sports programs at Seton Hall, Montclair State, Stevens Institute, Felician College, as well as many of the local high schools.

Despite being commonly connected to athletes, injuries requiring sports medicine care can happen anywhere, not just on athletic fields. People of all ages who exercise regularly or sporadically, participate in amateur sports, live an active lifestyle or have an active job can benefit from seeing a sports medicine doctor or specialist.

The first arthroscopic surgeries in New Jersey were done at Mountainside and that trend towards innovation continues today.
