The Care Awards were implemented here at Mountainside to celebrate team members who demonstrate exemplary service, excellence, and dedication in their roles while embodying one or more of our core beliefs: Creative, Courageous, Connect, Compassionate, and Collaborative.

During the month of August, we’re honored to celebrate Yvonne Peaten, unit secretary for the Medical Surgical department as the recipient of Mountainside’s Care Award.  Yvonne’s professionalism and compassion both have provided model examples for team members across the unit.  She goes above and beyond to make sure that the clinical team and nurses have what is needed to care for their patients both efficiently and safely. 

Yvonne is the first face most patients and their families greet upon arrival to the unit.  It’s been said by many that her friendliness has provided sunshine for patients when needed the most.  She is an asset to our facility and we’re fortunate to benefit from her skills, and ability to care for patients and team members with empathy and benevolence. Congratulations Yvonne!
