Mountainside Medical Center is excited to honor Beverly Collins, RN, CIC, FAPIC, director of Infection Prevention, as an exceptional leader.

Beverly joined the Mountainside team in 2020 and has been vital in helping the hospital achieve quality goals.  During her time at Mountainside, she has been instrumental in the hospital’s reduction of hospital acquired infection (HAIs), increase in hand hygiene, and developing and enforcing COVID-19 protocols.

Though she appears reserved, Beverly shows discipline in her profession, and is always on top of her game.  “Beverly thinks critically and leaves no stone unturned,” shared Valerie Allusson, M.D., chief medical officer.  “She ensures that our infection prevention and control strategies are based on best practices, and she is always kind. She is truly a lovely teammate.”
