Dr. Oleg Shulik, Gastroenterologist, Joins Mountainside Medical Group

Montclair, NJ, - (September 2019) – Mountainside Medical Group announced today that Oleg Shulik, M.D., has joined the practice to serve the communities growing need in the field of gastroenterology.

Dr. Oleg Shulik received his medical degree from the University of Debreen Medical and Health Science Center and completed his internal medicine residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Dr. Shulik has completed fellowships in geriatric medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, gastroenterology at New York Medical College, and advanced gastroenterology with the focus on advanced therapeutic endoscopy at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Marlyn Fernandez, M.D., E.C.N.U., F.A.C.E, Endocrinologist, Joins Mountainside Medical Group

R. Swami Nathan, M.D., F.A.C.G., Gastroenterologist, Joins Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Group

Montclair, NJ, - (July 2019) – Mountainside Medical Group announced today that R. Swami Nathan, M.D., F.A.C.G., has joined the practice to serve the communities growing need in the field of gastroenterology.

Dr. R. Swami Nathan received his medical degree from Madurai Medical College and completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Dr. Nathan has extensive clinical experience in performing various gastrointestinal procedures. He has mastered his skills in procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP, spyglass cholangioscopy, feeding tube placement, and small bowel capsule endoscopy. Of his many accomplishments, Dr. Nathan was the first physician in New Jersey to perform capsule endoscopies while becoming a leader in the field.

The Five-Star Quality Rating System is based on three categories including Health Inspections, Staffing and Quality Measures.
